Itinerary

Take your time to enjoy … Wicklow; our Garden of Ireland. Our relaxed day tour takes you to see the sights that Wicklow has to offer. Picking you up in Dublin, our guide will show you the sights on a mini tour around some of the legendary landmarks of Dublin. You will see Trinity College, Government Buildings, our National Museums, the iconic 5* Shelbourne Hotel, O ’Donohoe’s Pub (where The Dubliners were formed in 1962), Fitzwilliam Square and Georgian Dublin. Hear some interesting facts and history about these sites, then sit back to enjoy the drive to Wicklow. Our comfortable coach will take you along the winding roads into the Wicklow Mountains and even take you over the “PS I Love You” bridge on your way to Guinness Lake which offers stunning views of the Wicklow Countryside. Here we will have a short stop to allow you soak up the surroundings.

The next stop is in the world famous, Glendalough; an ancient monastic settlement dating back to 6th Century with stunning scenery, a warm welcome and a chance to have a leisurely stroll around the Upper & Lower Lake during your 2 hour stay.

You will board the coach again and set out towards Wicklow Gaol, infamously known as one of the most haunted buildings in Ireland. Our coach will travel through Deputy’s Pass, a winding road through luscious countryside and into Wicklow Town. Our driver will drop you at Wicklow Gaol where you can experience the guided tour of this fantastic Gaol that has been restored to its original glory. The tour takes you through the ages and what life was like for the prisoners. You will also have plenty of time to have a relaxing cuppa in the on-site café; The Jailers Rest before we board the coach again and return to Dublin.
